An original documentary for a patriarch with a fondness for family and nature conservation.
‘A Tribute to Phyllis McMurtrie Menke and Robert H. Menke’ is a corporate history documentary for the Menke family, owners of OFS Brands. Debuted at a tribute event for Phyllis Menke, the video celebrated Phyllis and late husband Bob Menke’s economic, environmental, and philanthropic contributions for the City of Huntingburg, Indiana. Filming for the project began in 2009. We involved Videobred, a top-notch Louisville, KY production company, to handle all the video production. Over the span of three years, we directed oral histories of family members, recorded time-lapse b-roll of corporate facilities, and oversaw digital transfers of family scrapbooks, Kodachromes, and Super 8 reels. As In Form Design, we developed the paper edit that tied the necessary video, images, and voice-over narration together. Based on this paper edit, we supervised Video Bred to execute the final video.
