Bio Good work, done well, for the right reasons.
Designer and Art Director
I go by the motto, “Meaningful design for meaningful business.” It’s my goal to authentically brand and design organizations and businesses who are transforming the world for the better. I gained my pragmatic approach to design while I was a design student in community college—professors focusing on the practical business application of design. On their encouragement, I signed up for portfolio day at MICA (Maryland Institute College of Art), a leading private art and design college in Baltimore, MD. Legendary designer/typographer Ellen Lupton reviewed my portfolio. She was impressed and helped me into their BA design program on a full transfer scholarship. Under the mentorship of Ellen Lupton (curator of contemporary design at Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum), Abbott Miller (partner at Pentagram), and Philippe Apeloig (Artistic Director of the Louvre Museum, Paris) I learned the power of prestige design—how great design can democratize society and connect humanity.
In my 15+ years as a designer and art director I’ve had a unique opportunity to empower brands that contribute positively to the communities we live in. Locally, I work with furniture manufactures who are committed to creating sustainable products and preserving traditional craftsmanship techniques. I brand economic development organizations that are generating jobs and raising the quality of life for those in the areas they serve. I design for healthcare entities improving the well-being of patients and families. I am also a Co-Founder & Chief Brand Officer of Create Change (createchange.me). Along side CEO Nathan West (musician, East of Eli) and CCO Chyler Leigh (actress, Grey’s Anatomy/Supergirl) we advocate for social change and social courage. Connecting with celebrities, artists and community organizations across the globe, we address tough issues facing Gen Z today like cyberbullying, suicide ideation & self-harm, living with disability, and screen-addiction. Thanks for reading my story, I hope to work with you soon!
We believe in good work, done well, for the right reasons. The following four core values are our guiding principles for how we design, brand, and do business.
From co-creating worldwide artist brands and tour events, to developing an independent production company as well as partnering with him on a philanthropic lifestyle brand, we’ve had the good fortune of working with Angelo on a multitude of successful entrepreneurial endeavors and can confidently say he’s in a league of his own in the world of branding & design.
What we believe sets him apart is his innate ability to unearth the underlying purpose and core values that are distinctively unique to one’s vision.
Furthermore, being a true artist & visionary who is wholeheartedly committed to the process of creating an authentic brand identity, Angelo’s creative prowess & passion will inspire and encourage you to discover the full potential of your vision and undoubtably take you far beyond what you ever imagined possible.
Angelo brings an incredible humanistic approach to Design and Branding. That’s why I love working with him. As a filmmaker I’m driven not only by visuals, but by the complexities of the human experience. So to is Angelo. He brings Heart to his Designs. And this is key to the experience of working with him. His humanistic world view infuses all his branding and design. Design should be more than an antiseptic collision of color, line and spatial relationship. What Angelo creates is an emotional connection between People and Design. That’s what’s key. That’s what matters. That’s what you get with Angelo.Gabe Torres, Filmmarker (The Remarkable Life of John Weld, Fight to Survive, Brake)
Angelo said the first time I met him, “Essence is the core characteristic or foundation of what defines a brand.” Two rebrands later, Angelo’s mantra is instilled in me and it is my true north to finding success in brand building. I call what Angelo does the democratization of marketing and branding. He ensures everybody has input and that their voices are heard.Jim Dinkle, Economic Development

Several years ago, I met Angelo Lagdameo when I was contracted to work at In Form Design in Jasper, Indiana, where he was employed. I was immediately drawn to him as a fellow designer and person. Angelo’s creativity speaks volumes in his work and I noticed immediately that he wasn’t afraid to take chances. Not only that, I found his kind and compassionate nature to be both nurturing and empowering. Fast forward a few years, Angelo has been an integral part of our program by serving on our Advisory Committee and also giving feedback to students about their work. Whether an advisor to the program or a juror for student work, he remains both creative and true to his nature.Susan Mackowiak, Visual Communications Chair, Ivy Tech
Angelo is the BEST! A seasoned professional with brilliant creativity. At the beginning of the design process he took the time to fully understand our company culture and future goals, so that his design work ultimately was a reflection of our company’s true essence. Throughout the process he was willing to hear our feedback and suggestions, and we learned a lot about ourselves as a result of this in-depth design experience.Chris Rogers, Director of Sales Midwest Region, LDI Interiors
From the moment we contacted Angelo, he exuded passion for the design of our logo as well as the marketing potential of our brewery. During our initial face to face meeting, we discussed our inspiration as well as our vision for the brewery that he was able to transform into a beautiful design connecting both the history and humbleness of our unique location. Angelo's design was exactly what we wanted - his focus, his talent, and his attention to detail is top notch and we highly recommend him!Andy Hedinger, Co-Founder, St. Benedict's Brew Works

Angelo has been a key part of developing my brand identities. He's not only given me great, creative designs that have exceeded my expectations and resonated with the brands, but he's also been in my corner the entire way. Starting with our initial phone conversations on the direction to take the brands, to his support years after they've been developed. Angelo has been a valuable asset to my businesses!Cory Howell, NPC Bodybuilder, Podcaster, 2 Scoops Radio
