The Orange County Economic Development Partnership (OCEDP) is a non-profit organization, which serves as the economic development agency for Orange County, Indiana. Their mission is to retain and expand existing businesses, support cultural resources, and attract new opportunities that spur economic growth and help create jobs. OCEDP serves as a one-stop shop for anyone interested in opening, expanding or relocating a business in Orange County. Their programs and services include a wide array of loan programs, façade improvement grant programs, identifying appropriate tax incentives and technical assistance. Through ongoing outreach efforts, our staff works with businesses to help identify which City and State programs are most appropriate for their needs. We designed a logomark that interlocks the initials for Orange County. The mark represents a rising sun symbolizing illumination and hope, a new beginning for new business. We chose a spectrum of warm oranges for the main brand color to emphasize ‘Orange County’ and why not?! We also developed a full suite of icons and standardized info graphics for all the upcoming data charts showing the quantitative reasons for choosing Orange County, Indiana. Along with the website, we also created a CMS system so that the client could frequently update their website with partnership logos, new staff and board members, available sites, loans & grant information, tax assistance, and local econ development news.
